Psychological therapies

Psychological therapies related to healthcare include clinical or health psychology, counselling and psychotherapy, and work in a range of settings including hospitals and community based centres.

Psychologists, therapists and counselors help and support people with their mental health, by helping them to understand, cope and overcome their problems which can range from mild to more complex conditions such as anxiety, depression, addiction and mental health disorders.

It is possible to enter at any level with the appropriate employment, qualifications, skills and/or experience.
