Pharmacy

Pharmacy staff apply their expert knowledge of medicines and their use, to help and advise people and other healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, on how to choose medicines and use them safely and correctly.

They also offer health advice to patients on issues such as giving up smoking and sexual health. Pharmacy staff work in pharmacies where medicines are stored, prepared and dispensed, and work as part of healthcare teams in hospitals or community pharmacies, playing a vital role in patient care and recovery.
