Midwifery

Midwives provide care, support and invaluable advice to women and their families while pregnant, throughout labour and during the period after a baby’s birth, by helping women to make informed choices about the options and services available throughout their pregnancy.

It is possible to enter at any level with the appropriate employment, qualifications, skills and/or experience.
