Allied health professionals (AHPs)

AHPs are the third largest workforce in the NHS and frequently work alongside Doctors and nurses and other healthcare professionals. They work in multidisciplinary teams and provide a range of diagnostic, technical, therapeutic and direct patient care, providing support to other services to enable people to live life as fully as possible. Each APH career progression pathways brings specialist knowledge and skills of their job.

It is possible to enter at any level with the appropriate employment, qualifications, skills and/or experience.
